Pet Shop Visit, 26 August
Butterflies will have the chance to visit a local pet shop this summer and find out as much as they can about the different animals they see. The children will then use what they have learnt to create a lovely display including some 3D models of their favourite animals... more

National Zoo Week, w/c 30 August

American Independence Day, 2 July
We love getting the paints out at Pelican, so to celebrate American Independence Day we will be making colourful firework splatter paintings, decorating flags and designing our very own rockets! After all that activity we will be refuelling with an American themed tea party freshly prepared by our cook.

Children’s Art Day, 6 July
We will be celebrating all things arty with a day devoted to creativity. The children will be able choose from a selection of messy activities using paint, glue, junk modelling and much more to make their own designs which we will be displaying for everyone to admire.

Pelican staff and children are invited to wear their football kits to nursery to celebrate the final of the Football World Cup. May Day celebrations, 4 May

Pelican’s fun in the snow
What a lot of snow we’ve had! The children have thoroughly enjoyed the snowy landscape with their key persons. Lots and lots of fun to be had, building snowmen in our very snowy garden.
