The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For

This prestige award placed Child Base 31st in the Top 100 Best Companies. It's particularly gratifying that the award is based on questionnaires which our staff completed, answering some key questions on how they feel about working for Child Base.

Here are some of the highlights:

85% believe Child Base is run on strong moral values
84% enjoy working with their teams
    82% find training beneficial
82% would recommend the company to others
81% feel their managers trust their judgement
77% have confidence in the leadership of their management team.

Most employees claim to be stress free, partly thanks to a wellness programme that encourages healthy eating and living. Also, the benefits package is appreciated.

"It is as good as in City firms," says Nursery Practitioner, Elaine Forrester.

Flexible working, a pension scheme, generous maternity pay, discounted childcare and a share in the company were all cited as reasons to keep working for Child Base.
