Child Base All Employee Share Plan (CASP)
The Directors of Child Base have an ambition for the company to become completely employee owned. To help achieve this ambition, shares in the company are currently on offer at 3 for the price of 1.
There are several reasons why shared ownership is good for everyone at Child Base. Firstly a spread of ownership secures the company's long-term future. For instance, the company can only be sold to a third party if the majority of shareholders want it to be.
Secondly, results in other companies have shown that shared ownership is a great motivator to everyone to make the company a success - because that success is shared. In the past 6 years our shares have increased in value from £1.6 to £4.0 and, in the past 4 years, dividends per share have increased from 6p to 12.5p. Share prices can of course go down as well as up, but with a motivated workforce we believe it is less likely to happen.
We therefore encourage all who join Child Base to join CASP and become a shareholder in their future.
