Teddy Bears Picnic, 18 August

Raksha Bandhan, 24 August
Raksha Bandhan is the Hindu festival which celebrates the relationship of brother and sister. To mark this cultural occasion, Butterflies and Bumblebees will be making cards and hats for their brothers, sisters and cousins and come together to sing songs and read stories relating to the theme.

National Walking Day, 16 May

Road Show
We had a wonderful Road show evening on the 4th February, celebrating the successes of Cedar Park. Staff were happy with some encouraging words and praise from Mike and Rose.

Dressing up Week
Children and staff were dressing up from Monday 8th to Friday 12th. It was such an eventful week. Lovely dressing up clothes, super heroes, fairies, princesses and many more. This helped us to raise a few pounds for our charities.

Stay and play
26th February is that big day when parents can actually be in the nursery and join in the activities of the day with their child. We want parents to have a hands on approach of our day in the nursery.

Reading week
15th -19th March We have set aside this week to be a week of reading. Just a goal for everyone in the nursery, to read or be read to for at least 5-10 minutes per day for the week. To enjoy reading and celebrate reading.
