• Enhancing the EYFS through the Childbase approach

  We follow all elements of the National Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) when supporting every child's development and progress. We also enhance the EYFS through our own learning programmes in key areas of language, physical development, self esteem and social skills.

  Our early language programme provides fun games, rhymes and songs to enhance the children's communication skills raising their self-esteem, confidence and social skills with others.

  Every environment indoors and out has a place for children to be active or rest and reflect. Our own physical programme encourages a progression of skills to promote confident movement, health and bodily awareness as well as control in using physical play equipment.

  We promote Golden Values from which all relationships, conduct and interactions develop. Promoted in everyday practice the practitioners encourage the children's developing social skills by encouraging age appropriate interactions with their peers which are thoughtful and respectful.
